On Oct. 15 TSF members and neighbors enjoyed a wonderful day at the Garden!  It was a beautiful day to gather and celebrate the Day of the Dead.
Special thanks to our steering committee member Julie Chavez for taking the lead in orchestrating the Day of the Dead activities that were so enjoyed by all.

Numerous members set up ofrendas in honor of their loved ones; we had kids activities – including pumpkins and Day of the Dead themed items to paint, marigold stringing.

Delicious Tamales were served by TAQUERIA EL MILAGRO on 26th St.

Our friends at the National Public Housing Museum harvested their crops, brainstormed and shared their pizzas.
